Hello everyone! It has been a long 3 days, but at last I am back home. Hailey was born on Tuesday 9-8-09 via c-section. She weighed in at 6 lbs & 7 oz and measured 18.5 inches. I was scheduled to have the c-section on 9-10, but my water broke at 3:30 am on 9-8. I am doing better now, but on Tuesday I was in some pain. I'm still tender, but I am up and walking around and trying my best to recover quickly. These 3 days have definitely been tough for me, not so much the recovery but being away from Kailyn. I'm so glad to be home and to have her around me again. She is doing well with adjusting to Hailey but I'm sure she still doesn't understand that Hailey is here to stay lol. Garrick and I are making sure we spend quality time with Kailyn and try to include her as much as we can to avoid jealousy. If Garrick feeds her, I have her sit with me on the couch next to him and the baby and we sit together. It's only been 1 day, but so far so good. I've uploaded a few pics to my Flickr page. Most of them are kinda blurry since I didn't want to use the flash on the camera. I'm hoping to get a few good
shots over the next few days so I can get some birth announcements ordered and in the mail. I'll try to post blogs with new pics as often as I can :o) Take care everyone!
